The Co-operation Protocol between TİKA and the Development Bank of Turkey was signed by TİKA President Musa Kulaklıkaya and Chairman of the Administrative Board and Director General of the Development Bank of Turkey Abdullah Çelik. The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of State for Economic Coordination Nazım Erken and the State Minister Prof. Dr. Said Yazıcıoğlu were present at the signing ceremony.

Prior to the Protocol signing ceremony TİKA President Musa Kulaklıkaya gave a briefing on TİKA’s core development programs ie; (aid modalities). President Kulaklıkaya stated that Turkey’s development assistance will be carried out more effectively by signing this protocol. The Chairman of the Administrative Board and the Director General of the Development Bank of Turkey, Abdullah Çelik, noted that development assistance made by TİKA had risen to 1 million 300 thousand  New Turkish Lira (NTL) He stressed the importance of development assistance and they, as the Development Bank of Turkey, will look to see if some of this aid can be in the form of credit.
