| Streets of Bayan Olgii Province of Mongolia were illuminated |
The Streets and avenues of Bayan Olgii Province of Mongolia, at a distance of 1700 km from the Capital Ulaanbaatar whose population consists almost wholly of Mongolian citizens of Kazakh origin, was illuminated with work carried out by our TIKA Presidency. People in the city could walk more comfortably at night due to the street lighting of streets and avenues which also served to illuminate important state institutions.

| Defence Tactics Training For Turkmen Police |
“An International Co-operation in Police Training Project” is being carried out jointly between TİKA and the Police Academy in order to increase security co-operation among countries and to produce contemporary solutions to the region’s security problems. It was launched in Turkmenistan. 59 Turkmen police officers came to Turkey at different times to attend the training courses on “Crisis / Hostage Negotiations, Internal Security Intelligence, the Tactical Response, Fire Training and Information Crime”.

| Agricultural Material Support for Bosnian Farmers |
The fruit project being carried out by TİKA in Bosnia and Herzegovina included technical equipment such as tractors, hoeing machines, cutting tools, maize machines, fertilizers, support bars, seedlings and protect networks and materials all donated to the members of the “Bratstvo” Agricultural Co-operative who are earning their living from fruit production.

| Tourism Development Project in Turkmenistan |
A “Tourism Development Project in Turkmenistan: 2009-2010 Work Program” prepared jointly by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TİKA Presidency and State Committee for Tourism and Sport of Turkmenistan was established in order to increase the economic contribution to the tourism sector in Turkmenistan and educate employees who will provide the high quality services.

| Ottoman Historical Works being restored in Sudan |
Customs house, once belonging to the Ottoman period at Suakin City of El-Bahru’l-Ahmer Province in Sudan and Safi and the Hanefi Mosques will be presented to the appropriate authorities following the completion of the restorations provided by support from TİKA.

| Ulan Bator Railway Hospital Women Diseases Section Renovated |
A new project was added to the projects being carried out jointly in the health sector with the The Ministry of Health of Mongolia. The Ulan Bator Railway Hospital Women Diseases Section was opened for service after its renovation and fit-out were completed by TİKA.
